Should I call to check availability for my date?
No. We can typically accommodate you for your date and are only able to accept callers that are ready to book their event and pay their deposit, so you should only call us when you’re ready to book your event. If your primary date has Limited Availability left there may be an additional charge so we will send you pricing for your primary date as well as an alternate date so you can choose which date works best for you.
Due to the high demand for our Premium catering services, we can only accept callers that are ready to book their event.

How far in advance should I book my event?
Be sure to book as early as possible so we can get your date locked in. The quicker you book your event, the better. As a particular date books up, the price increases for that date. If you want to lock in your date at the price listed on our Menus, call and book your event right away. We can also accommodate last minute events up to a day or two in advance, but there may be an additional cost involved with a last minute booking. Due to the high demand for our Premium catering services, we can only accept callers that are ready to book their event.

I don’t have an alternate date - I need to book you for date that I already have planned.
No problem. We understand and can accommodate your request. When you call to book we will confirm our availability. If there’s Limited Availability left for that date, we can take care of you, but there may be an additional charge to cover the expense of bringing in additional staff, equipment, and planning the logistics for your event. Due to the high demand for our Premium catering services, we can only accept callers that are ready to book their event.

How far do you travel? Can you come to __________?
We can travel anywhere in Texas, Louisiana, or the US if you're willing to pay the mileage/travel charge. The pricing below is the starting price for our most commonly requested travel destinations. This pricing is charged in addition to the catering package prices you see on our menu.

I haven't decided on an exact date or location. Can you help me?
We cannot help you until you decide on an exact date and an exact location. Only after you determine the date and location should you call us to book your event. See below for location suggestions.

Can you help me find a venue or give me some ideas where we can have our Crawfish Boil?
Our clients always have a venue selected before they call us, so we do not assist with venue selection. Most events are booked at our customer's Office Parking Lot/Parking Garage/Parking Garage Roof, Pavilions, County & City Parks, Bars or Ice Houses, Private Parks & Ranches, Private Venues, Backyards, Community Centers, etc. Once you decide on your location, give us a call to book your event.

I have my date and location but I don't have an exact head count. Should I book my event?
Yes. If you have a definite date and location decided and a general idea of how many guests you’ll be expecting, call us to book your event. We can get your date locked in with a 50% deposit and you can adjust your headcount prior to your event date.

I want talk to someone about my event on the phone. Can I do that?
Due to the high demand for our Premium catering services, our phone line is reserved only for those that are ready to book their event. If you are not ready to pay your deposit and have questions, just about any question is answered right here on the FAQ page. Once you book your event you have direct access to the Catering Manager's personal phone and email to contact us any time you want to.

PRICING

I've searched around and you guys aren't the cheapest. Why not?
There’s a lot more involved in having a great event than just showing up and cooking. Our customers choose us because they won't risk being embarrassed by a cheaper caterer that shows up late, runs out of food, or cancels on you a week before your event because they just booked a larger event on the same day as yours (we hear horror stories like these all the time). I have 30 guests but I see your pricing is for 10-50 Guests. Do I have to pay for 50 guests even though I only have 30 guests?
Yes. We have a 50 guest minimum charge so regardless if you have 10, 23, or 36 guests, the pricing for your event is the price listed on the menu for 10-50 guests.

I don't need some of the items included in the Crawfish Boil Packages. If I remove some of them will it reduce the price?
The items included in the packages are complimentary add-ons that we include free of charge so you can have an ‘Awesome’ event. Because we don't charge you for those items it doesn’t reduce the price if you want to remove them.

The packages have 3 pounds of crawfish but I only want 1 pound or 2 pounds per person. How much is the price for 1 pound per person or 2 pounds per person?
The price for 1 pound per person or 2 pounds per person is the same price as 3 pounds per person so you get the best deal when you go with the packages we have listed on our menu.

Where can I find pricing for tent, table, and chair rentals?
Due to the limited availability of catering dates we are only able to provide rental pricing for customers AFTER your catering deposit is paid and your date is locked in. Once your date is locked in with a deposit we can send you rental pricing specific to the needs of your event.

I'm planning a Fundraiser. Do you offer any discounted packages?
We do not offer any discounted pricing for fundraisers at this time.

Can you reduce your pricing or negotiate your pricing down some?
No, the listed price is the lowest price available. Prices are subject to increase due to limited availability for dates, especially in March, April and May.

Do you offer discounts for large events? I have an event for 1,000-5,000 guests.
Yes, the bulk discount has already been applied to the pricing on our menu page. For events larger than 500 guests, just use the pricing to calculate your cost (ex.: for 2,000 Guests multiply the cost for 500 guests x 4 and that equals your price for 2,000 guests)

I want Crawdad's to cater my event! How do I confirm my date?
Just go to the Book Your Event page, review the information, and then call us. We will get the details of your event and send you a Catering Agreement so you can pay your 50% deposit and lock in your date.

What type of payments do you accept?
We accept American Express, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and Corporate Checks.

Do you provide tent, table, and chair rentals?
We can provide tables, chairs, or tent rentals through our Party Rental service. RENTALS ARE NOT INCLUDED IN PACKAGE PRICING. Rentals can only be quoted AFTER your event is booked.

Are rentals included in the price of the catering packages?
No. Rentals are an additional charge.

Can you send me a quote for tent, table, and chair rentals?
Due to the limited availability of catering dates we are only able to provide rental quotes AFTER your catering deposit is paid and your date is locked in. Once your date is locked in with a deposit we can send you rental pricing specific to the needs of your event.

Can you bring cooked crawfish onsite and serve it to my guests?
Yes, we can cook offsite and bring it ready to serve your guests onsite at no additional charge. Just pick the package you want and call to book your event and we will bring the ready-to-serve party to your office.

What's the largest event you've done?
We've catered events as large as 5,000 and as small as 10. Crawdad's! has the experience and the expertise to successfully cater your large event while making sure everyone is served quickly and has a fun time. We have a successful track record from Fortune 500 companies to neighborhood backyards and we've got the online reviews and customer testimonials to prove it.

How much crawfish will I need for my event?
Your guests will eat an average of 3 pounds per person of our delicious boiled crawfish, so you can safely bet on 3 pounds per guest. If you're feeding a Cajun crowd you'll want 4-5 pounds per guest.

What's the difference between the Premium Package and the Ultimate Package?
The Ultimate Package comes with EVERYTHING - Large Crawfish, Boiled Shrimp, Red Beans & Rice, Bottomless Drinks, Dessert, Games, Prize Giveaways, Music, Party Beads, Trash Handling, Photographer, and more.
With the Premium Package you can choose from: Beverage Package (2 servings per guest), Dessert, Prize Giveaways, Games, and Trash Assist.

What's the difference between Trash Assist and Trash Handling?
With ‘Trash Handling’ (Ultimate Package) we bring trash cans & trash bags, bag the trash, and put it in an onsite dumpster. We can haul away up to 3 bags of trash complimentary. With ‘Trash Assist’ you provide your own trash cans & trash bags, and we help with the cleanup and bagging of your trash and putting it in an onsite dumpster.

I looked at your Packages and I don’t see what I'm looking for. Can you do something different than your listed Packages?
The only options we offer are listed on our Menus. We don’t have any other packages or lower-priced options available.

The Packages say “Catering for 2 Hours” but I need you to be at my event for longer than that. Is that possible?
Yes, we can add as many hours as you need for a nominal charge of $500 for each additional hour.

I'm planning a Fundraiser. Do you offer any discounted packages?

I want Crawdad’s! to come out and sell crawfish plates to my customers/guests/attendees at my business/bar/festival/function. Do you do that?
No, we are a catering company and we don’t do vending. You have the option of choosing one of our Premium Onsite Catering Packages, but we don’t sell crawfish by the plate.

For the All-Inclusive Ultimate Package you get an assortment of premium prize giveaways that includes a Crawdad's custom YETI Rambler, I ♥ Crawfish T-Shirt, and ‘Cajun Cook’ prize pack. The 'Cajun Cook' prize is an assortment of Cajun rice mixes and seasonings that are cook-at-home favorites so you can take the party to your house!

What is your Loyalty Rewards Program?
Turn your annual event into a feast! Crawdad's rewards our loyal VIP customers when they book consecutive annual or multiple events in the same year, and choose the ULTIMATE or Premium Package.

2nd Year: ULTIMATE Package Food Upgrade – Extra Cajun-Boiled Shrimp (¼ lb. per guest) and Dirty Rice
3rd Year: ULTIMATE Package Food Upgrade - Your free upgrades continue each year for as long as the events are booked consecutively, year-after-year. If you miss one year it resets. (Crawdad's reserves the right to make food substitutions on our Rewards Program)
